"My neighbors here in this working class part of Buffalo, Black Rock, may some of them know I'm a poet, but it's the neighborhood which most defines us. What I can make clear is that I am not here in Black Rock to soak up that culture, etc. It's simply where I feel at home and where we live and have raised our son and daughter". Robert Creeley {1926-2005}

A big thank you goes out to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Klemann for investing in our historic Black Rock neighborhood. The long vacant property at 332 Dearborn Street that fell victim to several out of state owners and was a blighted eyesore with broken windows and broken porch railings has been renovated.
The Klemann's saw an opportunity to help revitalize our neighborhood and did an outstanding job renovating this Dearborn Street property.
This renovation project is a complete make-over inside and out. There is even a wreath on the front door along with blinds and lace curtains for window treatments.
Please take a walk or drive by and see for yourself. You will be amazed at the transformation and realize the underlying value of many of the vacant properties throughout our historic neighborhood.
