Nearly Demolished the former St. Mary of the Sorrows Roman Catholic Church 938 Genesse St {Above} is now the King Center Charter School. Can this be implemented at the former St. John the Baptist R.C Church 60 Hertel or the soon to be closed St. Francis Xavier R.C Church at 149 East St.

What a great reuse for a church. St. John the Baptist must be saved, it's beautiful and on the historic registry. A charter school could be a great thing for Black Rock. City schools have driven so many people away from our neighborhoods. A good charter school could bring some back. BTW, love the name, Black Rock Advocate!
